With the Interbike show kicking off, it can mean only one thing to cross fans – Cross Vegas 2014!
This annual season opener has become a firm fixture for US and many European pro’s who originally happened to be in Vegas to attend their sponsors show booths. The event has the typical Vegas glitz and glamour, and is run under floodlights in the late evening.
Last years race was won by the then World Champ, Sven Nys, and 2013 by top US pro, and current US National Champion Jeremy Powers. It is J-Pow’s own TV production company Behind The Barriers (we’ve told you about it before) that will be providing a live webcast of all the racing (be warned UK readers, this will be at 02.45 tomorrow).
To get you in the mood, we’ve pulled together a plethora of digital niceties to get you in the mood:

So, until the small hours – all we need to do is wait.
#crossiscoming as the twitterati might say.

Er, Sven Nys is not the current world champion. Granted, he was when he won Cross Vegas last year.

Thanks Gary, we’ve updated the post so that’s more obvious.
Shame we won’t see Styby at Cross Vegas
