Anyone managed to service theirs at home?

Mine has a fair bit of slop now after a good few years use so the bushings could do with being replaced. I have contacted upgrade bikes who distribute x-fusion parts but they only offer to service the posts in house and don’t do seal/service kits.

Upgrade refuse to sell X fusion seal kits (apart from wiper seals etc), as apparently nobody could possibly be capable of servicing their forks, shocks and seatposts, including suspension workshops doing Fox, RockShox, Ohlins, Cane Creek etc.

You can find sleeve seal kits online in America for about $20, they have the top seal, bushes. Guide pins are another $8 if needed. X fusion have a service video on youtube. There are seal kits on ebay.com as well.

Easy to do, its just a cartridge dropper, its just annoying to get parts in the UK because of Upgrade.

There is a Giant cartridge that fits if you need a new cartridge

Cheers guys. The cartridge is fine. It’s just the play in the bushes.

don’t think there’s much in buying the stuff and having it shipped to having it serviced frustratingly.

The guys at Upgrade Bikes do a great job and its super cheap too. It's not that they don't want other people can service them, more to do with the availability of spares and likely not enough to go around if every service centre and the public were buying them.
