So swapped my chain last night as its hit 0.75 wear point although it ws all good.

Front chain ring is now very crunchy under load. Its been suggested that its knackered (but it looks fine) should i just run it as is or am i risking damaging anything? Front ring had done 1k miles approx and is a superstar.

Probably worn. Flip it around to wear the back faces of the teeth.

Worst thing that will happen is chainsuck in the mud. Then after that, it’ll slip under load introducing your face to your stem.
