Is there anything I can usefully do with a load of old computer books (very old versions of software etc_ or should I just tip them?

Same applies to a load of brand new unopened VHS cassettes.

local college as donation – or schools – but if obsolete, yes just tip them.

Might manage to sell some relatively current text books but on the whole, not worth the hassle.

Try webuybooks.co.uk; they will sometimes give you a bit of cash for the strangest of books (while not giving you anything for ones you thought were worth something…)

Disgraceful. They should be grateful that you’re trying to unload all you 90s tech on to them. 🙂

Charity shops won’t take them either. They just take up too much room and nobody buys them – even at 50p each.

    Blank ones?

If so hold on to them for 30+ years – you’ll get a fortune for them then from some collector of 80s tech!
