What size Cove Hummer frame would be best for a 6'1" rider?
I have a 19" Soda at the moment which fits well. Hummer comes in 19" and 20" but because of geometry differences I'm unsure what to go for.

do you prefer longer reach bikes?
i'm the same height and prefer bikes with a longer eff. TT and have a 2008 Hummer 19" and find it too short for me - its an absolute hoot going downhill but i prefer something longer on the climbs (also got a large soul)
so its just been stripped for a new build so is now a very expensive wall ornament
they are completely different geometry and ride quite differently fwiw, the cove handles better with a shorter stem (70mm max)
Hi
As above really. I am 6 foot and have a 19" (although it is an 05 model and I dont know if anything has changed)
I also find it a bit short and have a 90mm stem and a Moots seatpost with a little layback.
Whilst I love it I cant help wondering if a 20" wouldnt have been a better fit.
Having said that its a keeper and I wont be getting rid of it.
Cheers
Steve
They come up big i am 5"9 had an 18" 05 to big now have a 17" 09 prefect.I would go for the 19".Great bike prefer the red decals though.
I'd of said they come up small myself.
5' 8" and ride a medium in most things, 17" Hummer felt too small, but fantastic in twisty stuff and pointing DH.
I think 19" is where you need to be, shame as http://www.questadventure.co.uk/ have a 17" and maybe an 18" at the mo at a good price.
I'M 6' and my 18" 2006 is too short.
i need a 19".
chunkypaul - you selling 🙂
Thanks for replies. Confirms my worries that it might be a bit short for me.
I used to have a rocklobster team ti and that was to short for me. Arms like an ape!
