As per the title, we’ve just bought ten Garmin etrex 10 and two etrex 30 GPS for work and I’m now trying to work out what’s the best rechargeable battery to get.

P.S they will be used on bikes

Vapextech are good (and cheap). I like their “NiMH+” low self-discharge versions. http://vapextech.co.uk/

Yep that’s work in outdoor education, or getting paid to play as I like to look at it. Wasn’t much fun last Tuesday cycling round the Pentlands frozen by the sleet and hail.
What mAh are you getting? I figured the higher the better.
The low self discharge versions seem like a good idea.
Thanks for the suggestions so far.

The low discharge ones I’ve seen tend not to have as high a mAh rating. Is there something which has low discharge AND 2900mAh?

FWIW, I’ve been using the 7dayshop own brand recently and they seem to do the job.

I also like to have a couple of Lithiums handy for emergency/low temperatures.
