I like Sony MP3 players and have an NWZ S639f and an NWZ A845. Both great players. Great sound and they come with decent headphones.

Whilst the buttons and interface may look hard to get around compared to an IPod, you can lat least navigate songs while it is still in your pocket.

Drag and drop files from Windows media player too.

    Crap names though.

There’s also the Nano, which also doubles as a watch; there’s a bunch of different ‘faces’ and loads of straps to fit. A lot more practical on the bike than a Touch, possibly.

Just get a decent case for the touch if you liked the functionality of it

Cheapy piece of Technika crap from Tesco. Small, light, plays .mp3s (if you’re listening to .mp3 while riding who cares about sound quality in the real world?) and I don’t care if I break it.

    slainte 😉 rob
