During the Scottish Referendum, a guy in front of me argued with the guy in the polling station for 10 minutes because he wanted a pen and they were breaking the law etc. etc.

As an aside, at my polling stations* everyone was nice and cordial. No arguments etc.

When i turned up to cast my vote it turned out that I wasn’t even on the list, despite having voted in the past 3 elections, not having changed address, and returning that letter they send you every year….

If we’d lost by one vote I would have been even more annoyed..
