I was using Firefox and it had a nice little twitter tab in the top left corner which was handy for jumping in and out of twitter.

I’ve moved to Chrome as Firefox was running 1.2GB of memory with only 2 sites open (no porn vids either)

Ive had a quick google but what else are people finding is the easiest for using twitter. A separate app entirely or a handy plugin of some description.

I use a separate app on both Windows and Mac. Tweetdeck is a bit resource hungry but is pretty good otherwise the Twitter created app from the app store.

I’ll try the separate app for a bit and see how it goes – just a habit of flicking up to the small tab in top left using FFox that i need to kick.

I just tend to run it in the browser, although I have used the twitter made app which seemed good 🙂

The official app seems to handle multiple accounts quite nicely

Does Chrome use less RAM in OSX than Safari?

Actually, does anything actually use any more RAM than Safari? Jeeze! 😯

Well chrome is sitting at 164MB but FFox was using 1.2GB and leaks are apparently a known issue with it.

I ditched safari after the mrs kept crashing it browsing Tesco’s site which is another known issue apparently.

Happy with Chrome even though it may be doing evil monitoring stuff in background
