I have a day to kill near Bournemouth next week and thought I may take my mtb down. Can anyone recommend any good trails (a gpx would be great) around that way?

I will be driving down so it does not have to start in Bournemouth.

Purbecks for scenic cruising, Wareham forest for fun singletrack, Puddletown forest for rooty trails with some jumps and drops, Okeford Hill bike park for......bike park. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the suggestions, the Purbeck Hills sounded perfect so I had a little scan around and found this route (the longer ride):

What an amazing ride (the weather helped!). I parked at Corfe Castle National Trust car park (and did not do the leg to the ferry).

The part from Old Harry Rock out to Kimmeridge was amazing, rolling wide trails with views out to the sea.

The clifftop path west of Swanage is wonderful, although I suspect its a footpath, so prob best avoided at weekends.

There were no footpaths on the route, all of the off road sections were bridleways.
