Thought I saw a massive firework in the sky this evening….

….while travelling in the car about half past 5, with my daughter. She pointed out, though, that it was travelling laterally and not vertically.

Wonder if it was this???

Possibly a Leonid.

Probably was a Leonid SR, big ass one though (seen in Strathaven)

I believe the Leonids hit the atmosphere pretty fast, hence you get big fireballs.
