Is the visor removable? And has anyone got any real life pics other than the ones on the website please?

you can take the visor off the led one. they look ok actually and fit well but they are thin and i dont know if i would trust one in a crash.

I bought one for my brother, I was impressed even ignoring the price. Build seemed similar quality to any other helmet I’ve ever bought.

Roll on the 31st October when we won’t have to follow EN1078 and can make helmets great again.

    🤦🏻‍♂️

I got one but sent it back as got wrong size and had to get another lid local, fast.
    Ancestry…

Was really impressed with it. Build was fine, no evidence of it being so cheap at all. I’d certainly get one again if needed.

    ‘Thin’ 😂

It’s a burly helmet that fits my head well.

Can’t answer about the visor, mine’s at work.

    Thin……

Fantastic helmet. Can’t recall if the visor is removable because I don’t want to remove it so have never tried 🤷‍♂️.

I’d get another straight away. Don’t understand the thin comment?! No thicker or thinner than anything else I’ve ever had. Helmets have to be of a standard to be sold in the UK so I wouldn’t worry in the slightest that it would perform as expected in the event of the worst case.

I thought where it curves over your head the air vent bit was about half the thickness of my bell or mt500. I was just taking a look tho I could be wrong?

I’ve just got one-fits great, nice comfy and light. It came without the visor installed-you have to pop out some little rubber plugs and pop on the visor .

    I have one.

I crashed recently with enough force to rip the visor off and to put a gash in me which would require surgery.

My head however was completely unscathed, and at the price it is, i am going to buy another and retire the one i crashed in just to be safe. It is more comfy than the last helmet i bought which cost 4x more.

@13 pounds buy one and make your own opinion, at the worst you will have a spare…

Are these more round or more narrow and long? I’m a narrow and long kind of guy.

More round. I fit Specialized helmets as they’re typically long/narrow and the OO just didn’t suit me.

I think they are great helmets. That’s without taking the price into account, for £13 they are bloody brilliant. We have 3 in our house and 2 friends have also got them since seeing ours.

My only complaint is the gloss green one has faded really, really badly within a few months. The other colours seem fine.

Can anyone remind me if there are central running ventilation slots on the helmet to mount an Exposure light mount to please?

You have to attach the peak out of the box, holes for it look a bit rough with the peak detached.

Thanks idbrain. Saved me a bit of bother!

I decided to get one of these and went for the the winter to have s permanently mounted light bracket on. I’m lazy.😁

I’ve been unlucky and unfortunately the shape is very round. On trying to wind the adjuster out to see if I could get it to fit unfortunately the winder mechanism is broken and just keeps spinning. Just bad luck is all.

So, will have to go back I’m afraid. Taking all that into consideration the general build of the helmet is fine. Definitely not for people with an Alien shaped head though!

Please don’t turn this into some anti On One thing please. I’m not a devotee or a a hater either.

Like I said, seem decent for the price and with the right head shape should be pretty comfy.👍

13 quid!!!!???? My TLD A1 cost a fortune and annoyingly does not have parallel vents making it near impossible to mount lighting. Might grab one just for night riding at that price.

Shame it no longer comes in matt black but the black and orange will be fine…ordered one last night.

    What’s the crash replacement policy?

A tree pulled out in front of me last week and there’s a double of dents in the shell now.

Policy is they’re £13 and you are welcome to replace them at your expense after a knock or crash.

I bought one complete with LED rear light as an inexpensive option for short winter rides.

More comfortable than I thought it would be, visor is great in the rain (although would snap off in a crash) and the strap has come undone a couple of times so I have re-looped it so that it provides a secure fit around the chin.

Gave it a proper test at the Swinduro…. Nutting the floor on section 8. All good..

    here it is in action.

Held firm in the rough sections, over roots, wheels in the air and most importantly…nice and bright and easy to spot when looking for yourself in photos.

I don’t mind mine, had it for a year or so. My head isn’t quite right for it and it’s a bit uncomfortable and rubs at the back. Wear it for commute only. It is a bit mushroomy.

But a great spare, always in the van, I bought two.

    13 quid? I paid a tenner! 😂

This forum’s lack of emoticons makes it hard to take the piss.

I’ll probably buy a couple next time to save on postage.

I’ve got a big, round, beachball head, and the On-One Enduro helmet is one of the best fitting helmets I’ve owned. I’ve got the Orange and Black one, which is going to make things awkward next time I bump into Dick Barton on the trails, but what I’m waiting for is the reflective ones to come back into stock. I want one of those for night rides.
