In honour of the rather marvellous thread about bikes on the 'Bay.....

Let's have a thread to celebrate the bonkers in sport, the slightly unhinged lunacy, the eccentric oddity. Etc.

Like these idiots

Hell yes! Utterly batshitmental! To just ski it at a decent pace is one thing, but at the speeds they go? Bonkers.

I like the way that whenever he's interviewed the story of him taking off his own fingers in his shed comes up, yet he never seems bored to telling it without being big headed. Can't think of many 'celebrities' who'd manage the same.

The definition of batshitmental though!

Here, here this is batshitmental. Ok so it's sitting on stilts at the moment, but if you've ever sailed one or seen one sailing, or indeed on YouTube or followed the Volvo Ocean Race, then you'd agree with me, a very sleeping Giant.
Taken on today's ride, down at Endeavour Boat Yard....

Absolutely. I was also going to post an Unlimited Hydroplane (complete with helicopter turbine engine) photo, but even they are properly tame in comparison!

Take a chainsaw, attach skis, try not to have the person behind you land on your head. Sport!

I checked google for snocross crash pics, but there's very few. Not because they don't crash, but because when they do, not even the internet likes looking at the results.

Speaking of snowmobiles and mentalists, what would you do to make something that terrifying more terrifying? Why not make one powered by a pulse jet engine? Like these mental Swedes did:
