What is it, it's lovely, any recipes?
Deep red colour, usually, tangy and hot, slightly sweet maybe. Served on chutney trays usually, alongside the onions, mango chutney and lime pickle
Indian cuisine BTW

It may be tamarind sauce? Although I wouldn't have described it as hot? Not as spicy as lime pickle anyway so maybe not. But it is nice.
