Strava leader boards not updating with new results. Is it just me?

For context, I’m a long standing Strava subscriber so the recent changes to subscription model shouldn’t affect me…

I managed to beat my best time on a segment but on the “Following” leaderboard, my old time is still showing.

I’ve tried following the Refresh My Results and Refresh Activity Achievements instructions on the Strava Support website but they don’t appear to work.

Anyone else having this problem?

I’m not sure whether this is relevant or not but all my activities are private initially and I pick and choose which activities to share with ‘Everyone’. The activity in my sample is now visible to everyone.

I’ve had this when uploading as private, then sharing later…seems to take a while longer to update this way.

I did both of the “refresh” activities last night and the ride itself was switched from private to public 4 days ago!🤔

How long did it take for you to notice the change??

Same as haze….had it a few times on uploads over past few months. Certainly always updated after a couple of hours/overnight…never more than a day. Alternating from everyone to private then back again sometimes helped

I had this on Sunday, got a KOM and it showed on my ride but on the leaderboard still had my previous best time but it corrected within a couple of hours.

Everyone > Private > Everyone has fixed it!

I’ve now jumped up to 193rd on the segment. Result!

Was going to say no more than an hour rather than days!

Anyway glad it’s sorted, good tip to force it too 👍

Yeah, this annoys me too, by the time results update etc I’ve usually lost interest!

Also seems to show fewer segments than I’d expect but maybe I’m just riding unpopular areas 😀
