Guys I'm looking to put a pair of small bar ends onto my cross bike for multi day long distances. The trouble I am finding is they are all for Mtb 22.2mm and I need 23 .8mm anybody know of anything similar on the market that will fit?

You need spinach bars, not sure if there widely available these days though. Planet X had a load of them a couple of years ago and still have some

Clamp dimension is a bit big if anything on these though. But you should be able to find something.
How about something like this:

Fit a single, centralised pole and just wrap some extra tape on the tops, next to the stem for elbow/forearm padding. You could adapt a pretty standard clip on for that.
I'd go for the Spinaci extensions in the link above, and shim them for your bars. They are 25.4, so pretty close. Can't go wrong for £4!
Spinacis work well and keep your bars clear.
