Anyone riding the Trailbreak Southern 100 on Sat 9th May from Duncton in Hampshire? Any idea of the route etc? Is it Duncton to Eastbourne?

Duncton’s in Sussex, nr Petworth. And it’ll be a circular route, I’m pretty sure. Sure you’re not thinking of the SDW organised rides (BHF, etc.?)

Not sure yet if I can do the ride, but I’ve got the map from last year – the route went west and then south from Duncton at the start, as far as Goodwood Country Park, then meandered east through Amberley and Findon, reaching just south of Steyning before heading back west in a more direct route back to Duncton.

Yeah, that’ll be a circular mainly waymarked route (element of navigation on longer routes only). Should be a good day out as long as the weather isn’t cack in the lead up, SD doesn’t stand up that well imho – either wet chalk or heavy clayey going. Usually the long route is about 50k’s, but looks like a big option also available.

A good way to see a new area without poring over a map all the way round.
