whole lot of spaniels upside down on sofas. Labs seem to be into the inverted sleeping thing, constantly under my feet when im WFH.
Palmer aint allowed on sofa tho. he’s already too big (currently 7 months), and i reckon once up, that would be me and the mrs sat on the floor for the foreseeable.
Barney now at 10 months old – apols for cruddy phonecam pix
He’s alright, calmed down massively thank f. Fast as a fast thing, has become totally ball obsessed and seems to bring the best out of other dogs, has hugely impacted on my riding as I’m always walking the blooming dog.

In a few months time he’ll be old enough to do some gentle rides with you. Depends on where you live, but I bought an old singlespeed and have discovered a whole network of local paths and trails (Scotland – so all ok). An early morning ride with the dog is the best (fact) way to start the day and an hour singlespeeding on undulating single track does a whole lot of good… we alternate who rides with the dog, the other riding their work commute.
The lives of our dogs, young rascals once, old men now. Had great mountain biking years with them they would go for miles twice a day – have seriously curtailed my riding as they now need someone to walk into the field and stand for 40-60 mins whilst they able around. They get excited when I get a bike out but….
Young guns!
Fit years
Typical sleeping positions for each one, always been the same
Fav pastime now shrew hunting! In the past it was fox badger and deer! (never catch anything – just hunt)
Couple of old men now, growing old gracefully and on drugs
Love the Captain a Giant Purbeck Hound and the very Germanic Leo above!
I love how some of the dogs on here really seem to like having their photo’s taken (I suspect that there may have been treats involved to get some of the piccy’s). I have the chance to look after a big friendly choccy lab for a weekend in a few weeks time but as he might need re-homing I think I should resist, cos he could end up staying for more than the weekend!! 🙂
To get this photo took hours. 4 month old Westie. 3 year old cat on her sofa. You can see the displeasure in the cats eyes and the utter obliviousness to the potential fall out in the face of the dog.
We’re just in the process of adopting this little fella, Toby the 7 y.o Patterdale. He came for a weekend foster from the rescue charity my missus has been volunteer walking for & never left 😆
another one of fudge in the lab crazy years, and still is.Trail dog, but broke her ACL 3 months ago giping about in the park, hope to get her back out again. looking for stick trumps here.
