    Hi,
Its that time of year again – my fox float R 2007 forks are steadily leaking oil from the LHS stantion… Having seen the price of a service from Mojo (now £97 approx inc postage), and seeing my forks are becoming somewhat dated, should I…

    1) Stop moaning about the cost and Service my forks?
    2) Flog my forks and Buy a newer second hand set of forks?
    3) Buy new forks and flog mine
    4) Ignore the problem and ride till I do some real damage to them?

Forks are for my Pace RC303

    Appreciate any pointers.

Are you sure a service will fix them?
There's an awful lot of Fox Forx out there with worn stanchions meaning a £250 repair job

Yeah but you don't HAVE to do it if they're still wotking OK.

Me? In this case I'd fit new seals myself, but if they're not worn a full proper service will have them like new again 🙂

I do realise that PP – I was merely trying to get him to look closer at them before going to the trouble of shipping them off for a service

Appreciate the pointers – many thanks to you all

I have bitten the bullit and bought spares for my 1st home service. although finding a 26mm socket took longer than expected…

Something to do between xmas and new year 😛
