I managed to put in a pedal cross threaded and screwed up the first few threads 😳
I know that it is 9/16" but is it UNC UNF? I'm going to buy a bolt to put in from the other side and re-cut the thread.

get an old pedal, cut 3 or 4 slots along the threaded part,(easier with an angle grinder, with a cuting disc)as in,at a right angle to the threads, screw in from rear side of crank arm.

init.
