    Where can you buy the little nuts that hold the hydraulic brake hose into the top of shimano brake calipers (Shroud nuts)? CRC are out of stock…

    Please point me in the right direction, I do not live near a bike shop…

    Are they the straight connectors, the same as the levers?
    I have some old ones kicking about in the shed if thats any use?

    I’m in a similar position. Building up my new Scandal 29er with some parts off of my old 456. Forgot it had brake hoses threaded ‘through’ the guides, so had to cut the end off. As I pulled hose through, it whipped and the shroud nut disappeared into the depths of the (ashamedly untidy) garage to never be seen again! I’ve got a spare olive & insert but the only place selling the nut seems to be CRC, & they’re still out of stock. Any ideas where to get one? Ta!
