    concrete, slab or eco-grid, which is best?

    Insulated slab.

    So that when you get kicked out of the house you can live in he shed in comfort.

    hardcore, blinding sand, DPM, 100mm kingspan/xtratherm, 50mm screed, underlay, deep shag pile.

    mine sits on a load of rubble, straightened up with a few wedges of wood.
    hasn’t budged in 9yrs 🙂

    Slab on sand worked for me.

    shed will be upto 20x10ft, so that sounds a bit over the top Stoner, i’ll wear two pairs of socks instead

    Reasonably level ground and 2×2 flags laid on sharp/grit sand in a lay one miss one pattern (chess board style) It halves the ammount of materials required, is easy enough to do, allows air flow underneath and not OTT but plenty good enough.
