Hi all,

I just wanted a bit of advice really. I currently have a scott scale 60 08 model which I have upgraded to shimano disc brakes and a shorter stem/riser bar.

I am currently thinking about upgrading the rockshox tora to the reba and then in the future looking at a new wheelset/ tyres (the wheels arent the best i have ever ridden)

My question is are the upgrades worth it for the level of bike it is.(is the frame worthy of upgrading on.) Im aiming to achieve a smoother ride from the better fork and make the bike a little lighter...

Are these upgrades worth it? what order would you upgrade these components in?

Certainly think the frame is worthy of upgrades particular if it fits you well and is enjoyable to ride.

Once you start on the upgrade path, as long as you buy good reliable components they can then be transferred to the next bike/frame anyway...I've got bits like Thomson stems, Race Face bars, Spoon saddles etc etc that I've had on several different bikes.

I always tend to look at wheels first as I do think that weight lost from wheels counts more than in other places. However, can't go wrong with Rebas...good reliable fork imo.
