    Up.

Not really a chick flick but seems to make people cry.

Why don’t you just say mean things to her if you want her to cry? Or did you want to be able to ‘comfort’ her?

mrsconsequence doesnt cry at films, we’ve watched all the one listed above and not a single tear. there’s me crying and her looking at me like i’m weird.

Tell her you want to reenact the main scene of the film you watch and show her Human Centipede!

Armageddon. I bawled like a small child with a grazed knee at the end of that.

+1 for UP, if you’re not quietly sniffing in a manly fashion inside of fifteen minutes then you have a heart of stone. Fabulous film.

    i’d recommend “my sisters keeper”

story about a girl who’s sister has cancer and she has to give up bone marrow to help her

I had never seen my girlfriend cry in 3 years until she watched it on a flight to USA last year, had her in a proper mess haha

+1 for PS I Love You

Also, The Notebook – had me blubbing

Yes, yes there is. I had to stop watching it on a plane journey as I didn’t want everyone on the plane to see/hear me bawling.

Haven’t seen the film but the book of Marley and me was quite emotional.

Up – Absolutely, the first 15 minutes are, I would say, some of the best I’ve ever seen in any film, it has the benefit of being a decent film too.

the constant gardener – now that film’s bad for the soul.

    or

the time travelers wife – for something less depressing.
