I had a wireless and solar charged one from 2004 it was still working fine on my bike that got knicked last week…

This one is very different though but at £15 I will be getting one.

edit ooh its a heart rate monitor too!!

    The glasses are excellent value.

I had a very not good experience with the comp back in 2006. Computer could be different, but it looks the same!! Basically stopped working on first use…..

I used one of those computers for a year or so a couple of years back. What you would expect for £15 really. The HR monitor wasn't that accurate.

I have two and both still working heart rate monitor can be erratic and annoying to get it to work but does always work once you sweat but I dont really use that bit to be honest.
I even washed one in the washing machine and it worked fine afterwards
As a cycle computer 9/10 as a heart rate monitor 5/10

Computer is great. I have last years one with a heart rate monitor and it is accurate to +/- 5 BPM so it will do the job.

Also, their riding glasses are the only ones I use. £3 a pair. I have 3 all with different colour lenses in.

Snapped a pair a few weeks back so bought another set. Saves spending £100 on specialized ones everytime you fall off the bike and land on your face!

i can beat that, went in to test couple of months back and cycling gear was on offer, there was one lowly computer left on the wrong shelf and no price to be seen, but most stuff was half price.took it to the till thinking what would i want to pay, £5?£7 perhaps?
she rang it through to tell me
" that £1.36 sir, would you still like it?"

I have one of those 'pooters. good stuff. You have to be a bit sweaty before the HRM picks up as someone else said. the altimeter is a bit sketchy but its there.

Best deal I've had from Aldi is the merino base layers at 7.99.

worst deal waterproof leggings, worked great ripped right down the seam as I was packing them into their pouch. worn once, fecked, lost receipt.

Wet the sensors before you put the monitor on, standard practise.

Picked up compooter today, scanned at £12.99 and seems pretty decent, will give it a trial run vs. my GPS later

PMSL the youtube link. There's loads of spoofs of that speech and obviously being funny depends on your interests, but that one is even better than my previous fave, a motorbike rant…
