Is it like upvc where it is recyclable, but there are hundreds of types and you cannot mix to recycle?

it's a fairly generous application of the word 'recycle'...

'Chop it up, and use as filler'

(Metals and glass can go round and round and round and round...)

You can recycle failed good bikes into normal crap bikes, common practice on places such as eBay.
