I took this photo yesterday just as Jenna (springador) was shaking off after having a bit of a swim. Made me laugh and wondered if anyone else has photos of their dog looking particularly stupid.

Not mine, but googling pictures of dogs underwater has some great results.

FFS get a grip I didn't actually take the dog past the sign into the reserve , you pair of fruits . 😕 The sign is at the end of Gullane point beach , the reserve heads round to Aberlady .
Thought It might make an amusing photo , obvioulsy not.

Yeah, pardon me for not fully understanding the geography of Gullane Point and Aberlady. Or the exact route you took your dog. "Fruits"? f***ing ha ha!

WTF is a 'springador'

it's one of those made up names that people give MONGRELS that are bred from 2 'pedigree' breeds i.e. labradoodle (poodle/labrador cross) my guess would be a springer spaniel/labrador cross.

Means a seller can charge more for the pups. Saves on inbreeding though 😉 and can give the best/worst of both breeds depending.

A labradoodle or more properly a Mongrel that everyone calls a Labradoodle, apparently.

lol, I'd heard of a labradoodle but not a springador. It's a bit like brangelina or bennifer I suppose :/ We had a retriever collie cross years ago (someone didn't shut their gate properly and fido got jiggy with next doors dog) probably be a colliever these days no? He was a stunning dog though, in looks and temperament and definitely got the best of both breeds but suppose was a mongrel albeit a gorgeous one.

I have always regarded him as a mongrel but the person who gave him to us paid a £1000 for him so an expensive mongrel.

He is a very cool mutt though!

I took this photo yesterday just as Jenna (springador) 🙄 ...

She's a MONGREL, get over yourself! (or did you pay lots of money for her)

I like the doggy pics though.

TheArtistFormerlyKnownAsSTR, what breed/cross is your lad? He looks almost exactly like a bigger version of my Boxer X Spaniel; sorry, mongrel 😉

idiotdogbrain - we think he's a staffie/boxer cross, but there may be others chucked in for good measure - maybe some lab, so I'd say he's definitely a mongrel.
