I’m new to riding and want to explore a bit more in the Pentlands. I know the area fairly well as I walk there a lot and wondered if anyone could help me out with the trail names that MTBikers only seem to use e.g Pistachio Woods. I mentioned PW recently to a local couple who have lived there all their lives and they looked at me as if I had two heads!!..no idea about where I was meaning. So could someone try and explain to me where Pistachio Woods, Puke Hill, Killer Hill and Nail Trail are. I think I have an idea of where these are I’m just not 100% sure…and if you are feeling in the mood I’d love to hear about any of the other ones.
