Was going to pop down tomorrow, but the mbwales website has Penhydd down as closed - is this info up to date (some of the other things on there aren't).
Where does it say that? Only some sections of skyline are closed according to [url= http://www.mbwales.com/en/content/cms/Centres/Afan_Forest_Park/Afan_Forest_Park.aspx ]MBwales[/url].
Rode the Penhydd on Saturday and the only section closed then was the Hidden Valley. Why not phone the lads at the Skyline Afan shop to see what they know?
On the main Afan Forest Park page, beneath the photo of the visitor centre:
"Penhydd trail currently shut for repair of snow and storm damage. Please be careful of fallen trees on other trails too, we are working to clear them ASAP."
Ahh yeah, see it now. Concensous on mtb-wales.com is it's only hidden valley closed but I reckon ringing Skyline is the best bet.
