Unlucky - you were doing very well

Lucky did you see how close you came to landing your nuts on the tree

you came worryingly close to straddling it when falling off then 🙂

fair play to you for trying though - got further than I would have.

Thank you Geoff.

Very close to an eye watering clash but got away with it. Bent crank arm didn't though.

Good effort! When I started watching the vid I wondered how slippy it would be. You'd have nailed that in the dry.

Please tell your camera person that portrait video is a terrible crime

Good effort!
Just out of interest though, where were you planning on going when you got the end?

excellent. i love a good tree ride.

thats why riding clip pedals is boring. it removes that 'it kinda looks rideable but i'm not sure - oh well lets give it a go and see' kind of approach.

Excellent effort that is very high off the ground in the centre !
I keep looking at that tree and other options nearer home and think shall I have a go ....... I suspect I need to be in perfect form to get away with it, which rarely occure 🙂

It doesnt even look like you do anything wrong when you fell off. That tree just must be very very slippy

sorry but that is cobblers*, yes I wouldn't have ridden that tree but not because i ride in clips, it's cause I value my testicles.

*unless you actually meant "thats why riding clip pedals is boring for me" 🙂

Slight up hill ending to the tree and the back tire slipped out under load.
Always reccy the landing/crash zone.
The stump meant a difficult/impossible ending so my intention was to reach the end and undertake a dramatic gymnastic dismount :)in my dreams.

The poor bike suffered a bent L/H crank arm 🙁 bit of a surprise because the only thing it hit was my now swollen bleeding shin and the back of my head when she fell on me 🙂

A right royal giggle though.

Good effort on such a long tree!
I did a tree once, got close to the end and jumped off.
Another ride went back and tried it again, big crowd of people, me not realising how wet the tree was this time. As soon as my front wheel touched... wham! off to the side. So so close to a direct face-tree plant. Spent the rest of the ride with a weird jittery feeling running through every fibre of my being..

How do you sit with gonads that size... You knew from the beginning it would end with an off, but still went for it. Fair play to you Sir.

So actually the riding was a success, it was just the controlled fall the went badly.

HT.

The Yak is massively impressed by this feat of bravery. If you ever meet The Yak you'll receive a high five. The Yak also gives praise as you did not crush your bollocks.

It became an overwhelming stunt. "oh, I've got this far. Bloody hell I've made it half way. I'm still on the tree. Almost at the end 🙂 🙂 Not far, concentra...........:( ouch".

Pretty decent balancing there. The tree looks ridiculously slippery.
