I dont normally like TT bikes that much but this one is rather nice. Makes even the new Cervelo look like a bit of an ungainly lump.

looks fast just stood still, electric shifting saves hiding all the cables too, i wonder how much weight they had to ad to get it abouve the UCI minimum weight

Probably not much, weight isn’t the main aim of a TT bike, so they tend not to use the lightest carbon/layup, and making a bike so aero adds a lot of material.

Very nice looking bike though, looking forward to seeing the Katusha squad’s TTTs this year. I’m still leaning towards the P5 though, mainly for that paint job! It’s stunning!

i like it – i think it’s because it has a sloping seat tube rather than the vertical seat tubes now seen on a lot of top end tt bikes.

It’s beautiful. will be interesting to see if Canyon keep to their ‘cheap’ selling policy for that, I doubt it will come in under 7k with that spec…

Canyon don’t aim to make cheap bikes like some of the other direct sales companies, the savings are all down to cutting out the middleman not by skimping on design and production costs.

Looks awesome! Love how ‘clean’ TT bikes are getting now, the front end of the Trek Speed Concept is amazing.

very true, and as a canyon owner their bikes are anything but cheap, but will they be tempted to stick a bit of a premium on it?

The price may reflect the no doubt significant R&D costs, but I imagine it’ll still be cheaper than a Shiv/Speed Concept/Defy etc etc.
