    Well newish.

New frame to me, all other bits I took off another bike.

    What do people think?

Go on, treat it to a new seatpost! Bar looks very low…

Should be a nice ride! Saw these in Halfords and started drooling over the dropout design, lets hope it works better than my Kona’s slidies which I bodged with a tug – you might find bolt-up axle or skewer better than QR. And sort that slack rear hose!!!

I had thought about a new post, but that was free from a a mate so I will see how it goes! Bar is low cos forks are cut quite short, had them on my specialized with two spacers, no spacers on this!

Yeah had a few problems puting it together, QR has to be done up very very tight otherwise wheel falls out wen you put pressure on it.

Yip its in my to do list!!!

Nice, just spray the seatpost it looks a nice quality one.

I would need 75mm rise bars on it though..

Might do that yeah. I actually quite like the flat bar and bar ends. Good for those really steep climbs for more leverage!

(I secretly hanker to try bar ends, but would probably try them on my risers(not 75mm risers though!))

See if your hollow rear axle is M6 threaded on the inside. If so, I recommend some stainless bolts coupled with washers like these. That’ll sort it.
