RRP is £5300 for the Chassis (frame, fork, stem, seatpost (standard) and headset.

    I’m, sorry… HOW MUCH!??!! 😲

Hidden hoses and wires are the name of the game when it comes to the modern bicycle and the expectations of the rider.

    Said no home mechanic, ever.

I’m as big a Nicolai fanboy as any but I can’t imagine people are queuing up for lightweight, expensive, custom XC bikes that are not made of carbon.

Maybe not, but just look at it!

And yet it’s lighter than a £15k Scott Spark RC SL…

Add a dropper and it’s the same weight.

    Why would you need carbon?

At €11,799 it’s a hard sell regardless of material. What a spec though. And JUST LOOK AT IT! x 2

I’d have that every time over a Scott.

The 90s called and asked Veil for their frame back

UNOTRE introduces Mezzo, the bicycle designed to be intensely desired before being purchased (and then actually used).

Mezzo, already visible in preview for a selection of brand followers for a few days, will be officially available for purchase on the unotre.com website for €2,770 plus taxes.

The translation is obviously not doing the original text any favours but I’m puzzled about why I should ‘intensely desire’ this rather plain looking, very expensive hybrid? Couldn’t the manufacturer afford a decent photographer to show off the desirable bits?

kinda looks like someone had a load of old RAM frames left over and wondered how they could fit 29″ wheels into them.

All that blather on the hope hub video and yet there is no bit where they show the thing we all really care about… the buzzy sound.

Firstly, it’s the Mog, or simply Mog. No one calls it Mogadishu here.

    Chassis. 🤣

Frame handmade in Italy, with TIG welding technique derived from aeronautics.

    Also from the 90’s 🙂

Internal routing through the bars and stem doesn’t say “adventure” to me.

The ENVE just looks like a generic carbon frame to me.

They’ve decided to stand out from the pack using price. An increasingly common tactic!

In defence of the Spark… this thing has 900g wheels which presumably need a bit of babying. The Spark is pretty robust, no fragile parts – and has a power meter installed.

    @mesh Indeed. Bruce Forsyth however…
