    I'm a fan of Dire Straits, but I haven't listened to Mark Knopfler's solo work. Is it worth trying to get a ticket for one of his gigs or will I just be disappointed either because he's past his prime or because he doesn't play much Dire Straits stuff?

    I've just got tickets for Brighton. His solo work is superb, IMO. Still plays DS stuff too.
