Ah.. Kites.

Used to have quite a few.

Haven’t flown in ages. Last time was on a beach in Belgium back in 2022.

Not many great spots near Munich, but I used to go to Reschensee / Lago di Rescia and scoot about on the snowboard on the frozen lake.

Had another go at flying the stunt kite this evening. Wind was blowing from the west so the sun was on my back. I made sure the line lengths were equal and managed to launch the kite a few times. It remained airborne for at best 1 minute. I’m making progress so I’m happy.

New kite arrived. Very different to the 1.8 beamer I had been flying. Scary and twitchy in a gusty park.

Kite stayed up for ages, it has now officially spent longer in the air than crashed on the ground!
