Noticed with my kaffenback if I turn sharply either way, the cantis brake cable catches on the gear cables, near where the cable lugs are on the head tube.

Sorry not the best pic, but gives you an idea.

Only a problem if I turn sharply, just wondering if there is a cheap or easy solution to correct this.

I know one solution is not to turn so tightly on my commute 😉

a v- brake would fix it.

Happened on my Kaffenback too, but wasn’t a problem when riding as you wouldn’t be turning that much when in motion.

Running sti shifters thomthumb, not sure they would have ample pull for v’s

Has anyone tried sti’s with v’s?

I’ve got 105 sti shifters and Tektro Vs (both as supplied with the “build it yourself” bike kit) which work fine.

But I still can’t turn sharply as full mudguards + big feet = lots of toe overlap 😐
