you're posting html code (website code) into the [img] tag.

You need to put the source (filename) of the image inbetween the

[ img ] [/img]

Or just click the IMG button and it will ask you to type or paste in the source

Tick the box that says "image only no link" (or whatever) in the Link ToThis Image bit (in Picasa/Google Photos)

You're almost there. The code you copy from the Embed Image thing in picassa is more than just the image, it's a load of formatting stuff that you don't need.

The bit you need is in the middle of it after the src=" up to the next " after .jpg.

So, where you see this amongst what you had:

src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_ljIkCrs9YWg/TPVmsWCbwYI/AAAAAAAAABA/jFSL62oy5P8/s144/
crap%20bicycle.jpg" height="144" width="115"

You want this bit:

Use the IMG button and stick that in and it'll work.

Once you tick that box it'll get rid of all the extra gibbons and you'll be left with this in the text box:

Which you then copy and paste between two img tags or press the IMG button and paste it in there.

Which should give you:

See the dropdown box that says something like "Size: Thumbnail 144px" select Medium: 640 instead then copy the text.

So the next obvious thing is what happens if there is no IMG box?

See that, that's you that is. The dimensions and pixel/file size of your pic is very small, maybe there is a way to resize it, but that option should be fairly obvious when "sharing" it. Maybe that is as large as it gets, because your original is such a small file size. Try downloading to Picasa and sharing something of a bigger file size, something you've taken with your camera, then STW will automatically size it to fit the page.
