I watched a few episodes of S1, much as I loved Breaking Bad it just seemed like a poor relation.

It’s a different show. Much slower. Excellent, but in a different way to BB. If you’re not into that, you obviously won’t enjoy it. Snowfall is fairly good if you’re into the drug kingpin type stuff.

I loved Breaking Bad, and had very low expectations of Better Call Saul. I thought they’d just make him a cartoon character. and play it for amoral laughs.

They actually did the complete opposite of that. Its been consistently brilliant right the way through! Fantastically written!
