Should be in the films thread, but can’t find it.

Well then, I think this is his worst movie by some margin. Yet I’ll record it and watch it again. I’m keen to see what I missed out on first time around, if true in a Wes stylee that I’m so used to.... see if I glossed over the subtext and subtleties he is renound for.

But on the big screen, it really lost me and I pretty much hated it.

So, we will see.

Set your recorders...

👍😵🕴

Its not a kids movie BTW.

It's Ok but I'll not be rushing to watch it again if at all.

Not that I have Sky.

I like Wes Anderson films and have re-watched IOD. I thought it had some good moments and some really atmospheric scenes, but agree it's drawn out and not his best by a long shot. I also don't think it's worth watching again, without a good number of years break between!

The Blade Runner sequel stood up well to multiple viewings IMO.

I reckon Annihilation could stand another watch! Hereditary and Mother are pretty good. Three billboards and Get Out are alright as well.
