You need a telephone box. Place said telephone box in the woods. Conceal yourself well, then phone the call box. When the bear turns up to answer the phone, jump up, close the door, and voila. One bear in a box. Take box to pub, get several pints ready. Open door, run. Come back in an hour, apologize profusely to bear, and job done.
