I use my old desert smock a lot while walking the dog. As much as i like it, i’m not a fan of wearing something DPM, and I’ve been wondering about what to do with some old desert / DPM gear.

Google shows that they can be dyed, although its not easy. I think this looks pretty decent.

I bought 2 from Amazon a couple of years ago, about £16 each. I use them for camping and working outside, still going strong. I just wash them in nikwax. They are pretty good for slouching about in around the bivvy too.
