I'd like to get some tape to protect my new bike that's arriving soon, but as it's a new model Invisiframe don't have a kit for it yet.

I was looking at the generic Bike Shield kit on CRC, but I only really want to protect the top tube, down tube and seat stays anyway. So can anyone recommend some tape and links if they've spotted any deals.

Apologies if this has been asked recently. I did do a forum search but all the stuff saying it was posted recently was in fact from about 8 years ago 🙂

Email Invisiframe.

If they want to provide a kit for that model, they have been known to offer incentives for people lending them a frame for a couple of days when they don’t have a template ready to cut ...  No guarantees obviously, but you never know!

Maybe not what you're after, but I put one of these on my downtube - nice n tough. Easy to apply.

Probably some of the Biketape helitape for the top tube.

This company  https://www.cyclewrap.co.uk/ do bespoke bike wrapping and are pretty reasonable price wise from what I've heard too.

Alternatively Gorilla Clear repair tape is £7 a roll and is 8m long / 48mm wide and is pretty much as good as heli-tape.

Yep, I did a full bike and two forks with one roll, applying liberally.

The edges are slightly serrated so it does hold dirt, but if you're not fussy it's very economical.

Agree with the Gorilla tape - I've used it on my last 3 bikes and it's been brilliant. It's also cheap enough to replace regularly if you want - Amazon usually have good deals on the stuff

I've had some of that tape2go heli tape it's good stuff especially for down tubes as it's twice as thick as invisiframe tape, it does however make it harder to work around curves etc.
