My nose has been really itchy the last few days with lots of sneezing!

I am not bad enough to take tablets, and want to avoid them as they make me feel like shit.

What nasal spray is good and actually has an active ingredient, unlike the one I just looked which was £5 and just sea water !

My wife is pregnant and uses prevalin spray. It’s basically auxiliary snot. Seems to work surprisingly well and has no drug side effects.

I use Beconase nasal spray and when I get a really bad day I use Opticrom to stop the eye itches.

Pollenase, itsi basically the same stuff as beconase but it's cheaper from my local chemist. The active ingredient is beclometasone dipropionate. I find it takes a few days to build up into my system so it's no good just using it when I get the symptoms.

a good shout on the warning, it does take 2 or 3 days to work it's not a quick fix, but it's brilliant when it does.

Avamys.  (or Fluticasone Furoate)

Tried loads in the past. This is the only one that seems to work for me.

On prescription though.

Takes about a week to build up for me, so keep at it.
