[Closed] Glue for bonding straps to helmets

The rear velcro point for one of my straps has come adrift, which is very annoying. It now won't bond back to the helmet so I'm wondering what glues everyone uses in such circumstances. My initial attempt was to remove the velcro bit, clean the helmet and heat the velcro bit up so the glue got a bit more sticky, before squishing it back on. Lasted a week.

That's better than I have ever achieved. You can buy self-adhesive velcro. Or use staples, I recommend (but have never used) stainless.

Polystyrene is tricky to glue stuff to. DON'T USE EVO-STIK, or any other toulene based adhesive. Maybe a Urethane adhesive?

I've used superglue, does the job. It has to soak in a fair amount or it will just peel off the face.
