    I thought they were all free. 😉

    I still use movie maker (vista) despite trying Vegas recently. I was trying to keep everything at 1080p, but had mixed results and found Vegas feature-packed but overly complicated for the basic kind of movies I was doing. Crappy laptop probably didn’t help either. Sticking with 720p for the time being and now use Quicktime Pro for MPEG4 conversion (export as uncompressed AVI and the quality stays good) and WMM for simple editing.
