Just sold a bike on eBay. I’ve owned the bike for 4 or 5 years and I swear it had and RP23 shock. Buyer’s just pointed out it’s an RP3.

Swear I had no frickin’ idea.

Now he’s saying it’s not as described and kicking up a fuss. No pro-pedal etc.

How do they differ? Is there a massive difference in performance?

    RP3’s do have pro pedal.

    There’s a three-way switch. I always thought it had pro-pedal…

Not sure of the differences, but he has a point. Does he want to send it back? Why not offer him a bit of money back as a token gesture? Or is he being a tool about it?

Yep. Hand goes up. I described it wrongly. Genuinely had no idea.

    GIven him a £40 refund.

No, I was being a tool. I get riled when I get accused of being dishonest. 😐

I have both. Rp23 Kashima is smoother(just) rp3 locks out properly.
I’d be happy with the 3.

RP3 has 3 levels of propedal, but not on / off and rebound.
    So its a bit like
some > more > a bit more still.
