My son has just bought a vintage Peugeot from these guys[/url], and I am very excited for it to arrive.

Now, even though he paid for it with his own money, I will be looking for any grounds on which to remind him of all I have done for him since his birth. I figure he owes me. 8)

More work by the same people/person can be found here.

My neighbour has got an old Peugeot 405 and it’s nothing but trouble.

There are some clever people out there these days!

Taking old frames made out of drainage pipes, with horrid geometry, and then pimping them out at a massive mark up as “vintage”. 🙂

I’m going to start stockpiling Raleigh Activators now! Get ahead of the market.

    £500?
You could get a bike for that.
    🙂

Nothing wrong with that geometry though.
Perfectly suited to a dignified lope.

Shame someone’s stolen the gears, guards and racks.

    Yeah, but these are “vintage”.

    Still prettier than a Diverge.
    🙂

Why’s it all in cod foreign?
Seems a bit out of plaice?

These the guys who used to be next to Cord, just off Tibb Street?
    Good people, if so.

….and the horse you rode in on.

    😉

It’s in forn because forn makes it more aloof and euro. A la Rapha.

    There’s no N+1 with a cornetto.

PX10 or Carbolite 103? There is quite a difference. I had the latter, which I bought to cycle 10 miles each way to a pool where I worked as a lifeguard. It was a nice (heavy) steel bike. Stolen 🙁 – sister forgot to lock it when she came home.

You could get a road legal bike for that.

Something tells me he will be disappointed when all the accessories don’t arrive.
Is it also marketed as hipster babe magnet, works just like this 😉
