A bit of a had to be there tale but in an unfamiliar supermarket some years back my partner asked me what I was walking up and down looking for and in my best Cryin’ Rambo I said…

“I can’t find the ****in’ eggs. I can’t find the eggs…”

She didn’t get it and simply glared at me but a guy that overheard had a good ol’ chuckle.

Morrells other books are also pretty good, though a little samey. Remember one about a guy who’s family were killed by the mob, he escaped to tbe hills, then came back for revenge. Bit harrowing but riveting.
