Handbrake for the encoding. Being a Mac user not sure what DVD rippers are out there for ripping encrypted discs.

DVD43 to break the encryption (just runs in the background) and Handbrake for the encoding. Handbrake’s a piece of piss to use- plenty of presets for each plater type (touch, nano, psp etc etc.

On the pc I used to use DVD shrink to rip DVDs, works really well and was free, I’d then use Handbrake to convert to ipod.

Now I’ve got a mac, does anyone know of software to rip encoded DVDs on a mac? I have mac the ripper buy it doesn’t work on a lot of encrypted DVDs.
