    Setting up as floating, I would like to ask if the tongue and groove contacts needs to be glued or just the 1st and 2nd and last row? … If all.. Seems so many to glue 😯

    Thanks

    I’ve done quite a few and never glued them, never had a problem.

    Thanks colp, but what prevents the board on the edge from moving out of place once I remove the spacers? Or would it just stays there? Sorry very noob about DIY but need to start somewhere 🙂

    Put down about 12 now, never glued any of them ( I did glue the bits near the sinks ). The entire ground floor of our current house was done 7 years ago, no issues. You can put cork round the edge if you want, it i didn’t bother with that either on the last 5 or 6…

    You shouldn’t have to glue modern “click” type T&G flooring. The flooring packs generally come with fitting instructions. I would strongly recommend that you buy glueless “click” type flooring.

    Click = no glue

    Tongue and groove = glue

    That’s a bit confusing as click type flooring still has tongues and groves but requires no glue. The flooring in wolfenstein’s video clip is push fit type T&G flooring which does require glue.
